Fish Names

The Fish Names Committee was formed to create The Australian Fish Names List – a comprehensive list of uniform names of commercial seafood species, including imported species.

For a more detailed description  of the major fish species, go to the CSIRO database at:   http://www.marine.csiro.au/caab/caabsearch-frames.htm
