Asian Seafood Exposition

12 August 2010

The organisation that runs the highly successful European Seafood Exposition and also the International Boston Seafood Show each year – as well as numerous other food show across the globe, including in Australia - announced last October that it was adding the Asian Seafood Expo to its network of global seafood events.

Members of the Australian seafood industry will soon be promoting our premium quality products at this year’s Asian Seafood Exposition which takes place in Hong Kong from 7-9 September 2010.

Richard Stevens from the Western Australian Fishing Industry Council, organiser of Australia’s participation at this event, said there are still opportunities for any seafood companies who haven’t already registered to join the ten companies already in the WAFIC delegation heading to this expo.

An 96 square metre stand has been booked and construction of the Australian pavilion is well under way.

The Asian Seafood Expo is Asia-Pacific and Hong Kong’s premier seafood trade event – connecting retail, food service, and distribution buyers with suppliers of live, fresh, frozen and packaged seafood products and services from around the world.

The 2010 event launches alongside Restaurant & Bar Hong Kong 2010, the region’s first and leading fine dining and bar show for 8 successful years – attracting more than 8,000 qualified buyers.
