Cooking Mussels
Tips
- Debeard the mussel before cooking by pulling the beard down towards the base of the mussel.
- Mussels are not “off” if they don’t open. You will know by the smell if a mussel is “off”.
- Don’t stir to much, the mussels will fall from the shell.
How much to buy
1 kilo will serve two people as an entrée1 kilo to serve a main mean for one person.
