The National Seafood Industry Alliance (NSIA) launched its website called "Seafood for Australia" please find the link below.
The NSIA website will be a major tool to inform the community about the proposed Commonwealth Marine Reserves, the impact this may cause to industry and to the supply of seafood to the Australian community. It also communicates the industry's position for a sensible approach to Marine Reserve Networks and outlines a fishing industry proposal for networks that achieve conservation outcomes while still allowing for a viable Australian commercial fishing industry to continue supplying sustainable seafood.
The website also contains other relevant and important information for the fishing industry.
