PROWEST is WAFIC’s primary communication tool with its membership.
It highlights all the major issues facing the commercial fishing industry ranging from important political issues and government regulations through to safety and training and research and development. Copies of ProWest can be viewed on this website.
ProWest is mailed free of charge to all licensed fishermen, WAFIC members (which includes professional fishermen associations and major seafood industry processors, retailers and exporters), all Western Australian State and Federal Politicians and the media.
More than 4,000 copies are delivered bi monthly. It is estimated that each magazine is read by at least four people on board fishing vessels, at company offices and reception desks and in parliamentary and media offices.
Publication dates:
February, April, June, August, October and December.
