WA Seafood now live on TV screens State wide
Buy West Eat Best – an initiative funded by the government that proudly supports the local food industry in Western Australia – launched their new television campaign last week.
The series of 15 second commercials proudly supported by WAFIC are part of a dynamic new marketing campaign which rolls out across the state throughout July. Developed in collaboration with industry the adverts ask WA consumers to make a ‘good choice’ and support local food businesses.
The Good Choice campaign aims to remind WA consumers of the importance of buying local to not only support our producers and retailers but also reap other benefits such as the freshness and quality of local produce. It will also act as an aid for local retailers, wholesalers and restaurants who are already doing an excellent job in highlight where product comes from.
The television adverts will run in a series of bursts starting with a generic advert (see below) followed by tailored adverts focusing on contributing BWEB members produce such as Mount Barker Chicken, Amelia Park Lamb, Linley Valley Pork, Carnarvon Bananas and WAFIC until April 2018.
Be sure to look out for the WA Seafood advert starring Jim Mendolia from Fremantle Sardines and Asher Flynn from Fremantle Octopus and featuring Sea Mullet, Red Emperor, Dhufish, Rock Lobster & Prawns, Blue Swimmer Crabs. Mega bus sides, shopping centre shop-a-lites and point of sale signage are soon to follow.
And remember… choose local. Buy WA seafood!
