New electronic G2G Pass travel app launched

A new app, G2G PASS, has been developed to provide an efficient way of applying for and demonstrating proof of an exemption before travelling to, or within Western Australia.

The electronic pass is expected to streamline the process for travelling interstate or intrastate for essential work.

G2G PASS is now live and available for use by industry and the general public, if they are essential workers or are exempt to travel.

Paper-based forms will also remain available for interstate travel and people travelling within WA will be able to apply for manual exemption at the checkpoint if they are carrying the right supporting documentation.

Both exemption methods are free to use.

You’ll find more information and answers to Frequently Asked Questions here.
