WAFIC’s Board of Directors meets every two months to discuss issues, receive advice and to make decisions about various matters related to WA’s commercial seafood industry.
Much of the information received at these Board meetings is commercially, and sometimes politically, sensitive in nature.
However the WAFIC Board is committed to best practice governance and values open and accountable communication with WAFICs stakeholders – industry and others.
Following each Board meeting, the Chair or his delegate, issues a Board Communique that provides an overview of the current issues and challenges considered by the Board during each meeting.
