Blue Manna Bistro win best Seafood Restaurant Award
High quality seafood meals and excellence in customer service of Blue Manna Bistro were recognised when they were presented the Seafood Restaurant Award at the 2021 Western Australian Seafood Industry Awards.
The award category is sponsored by Endeavour Foods.
The Awards event, recognising excellence in the WA seafood industry, was held at The Esplanade Hotel in Fremantle and opened by Minister for Fisheries Hon Don Punch MLA in front of a large audience of industry participants and seafood representatives.
WA Fishing Industry Council (WAFIC) CEO, Darryl Hockey said the restaurant had demonstrated excellence in consistently serving customers with quality seafood and providing them with an overall positive seafood dining experience.
Based in Dunsborough, Blue Manna Bistro was opened in 2017 by two families sharing a passion for seafood. In order to help manage the consistent supply of fresh and predominately Australian seafood, they also established their own retail fish shopfront, just next door – Oceans Fresh Seafood. The restaurant staff are welcoming, helpful and very knowledgeable, whilst the ambience of the venue provides a relaxed atmosphere nestled against a beautiful nature reserve. Blue Manna Bistro’s commitment to sourcing high quality seafood, some directly from fishers themselves, has helped make the business a huge success.
“The meals showcase the best seafood Australia has to offer while delivering outstanding customer service and a relaxed atmosphere. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable, which provides for a very enjoyable customer experience” said Mr Hockey.
“As an industry body, we recognise the importance of acknowledging those individuals and organisations who make a substantial contribution to benefiting our industry, and Blue Manna Bistro is certainly a worthy recipient of this award,” Mr Hockey concluded.
