ProWest News – Pew confirms it has no understanding of WA marine park science
Pew has proven two things this week.
Firstly, it has lots of money to spend influencing its poorly informed audience.
Secondly, it has no understanding of marine science.
After seeing Pew running a full page ad in The West, waxing on about leafy sea dragons and beautiful nature, it makes a claim that “right now there’s no marine protection in out state waters.
Again, two things are wrong.
Firstly, more than 50 percent of WA waters have marine protections and secondly, it is OUR waters, not yours. Pew is a US-based eco-lobby group. It’s got nothing to do with WA.
