Understanding the new Work Health and Safety Laws: What do they mean for your business?

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIWA) is running a training course designed for people who hold leadership roles at the workplace and have responsibilities for work health and safety.

The course explores the requirements for duty holders including the Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking (PCBU), Worker and Officers under the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and Work Health and Safety Regulations 2021.

Upon completion of this course participants will be able to understand:

  • WHS obligations of PCBU, Worker.
  • Officer’s due diligence requirements.
  • Penalties and enforcement measures.
  • Requirements of Health and Safety Representatives and Committees.
  • WHS risk management.
  • Minimum compliance for common workplace hazards.
