WISA announces new Board appointments
Following its AGM last month, WISA has welcomed five newly appointed Directors to its Board.
WA-based business manager and WA Seafood industry’s Young Achiever of the Year, Sophie Sharland has joined the team along with Olivia Liu (ACT), Tiff Bock (Australasian), Julie Murphy (VIC) and Stephanie Margrain (Independent).
It’s the first time WISA has elected an Australasian Director, reflecting its growing presence and connections across New Zealand.
The WISA team thanked the outgoing directors, with special thanks going to Heidi Mumme and Karen Holder for their outstanding leadership and long-standing contribution to WISA.
At the first meeting of the new Board, Claire Webber was elected Chair, Karen Olver as Vice Chair and Renee Pearce as Company Secretary.
