The food show was held at Carriageworks in Sydney (a contemporary multi-arts centre) which was transformed into an energetic marketplace for the day and 60 top class Australian producers were showcased. The objective was to connect these high quality primary producers to chefs throughout Australia.

This platform gave the team, who grow the fish from Geraldton based Indian Ocean Fresh Australia, the opportunity to educate patrons on the quality of their fish. Not only did chefs hear firsthand the success of the finfish operation, they learnt about company accolades such as winning Gold at the Sydney Royal Fine Food Show and becoming the State winner in the 2018 delicious Produce Awards.

Team members had the chance to educate patrons.

Coby regularly features Geraldton Kingfish on his menu – receiving fresh fish through IOFA WA distributor, Endeavour Foods. Coby displayed his kitchen talent by creating delicious Geraldton Kingfish samples of sashimi, poke and nummus (picked fish) for patrons to try.
