CEO of WAFIC John Harrison Appointed to WAMSI Board
The WA Marine Science Institute (WAMSI) announced the appointed of CEO of WAFIC, John Harrison to the WAMSI Board last week.
John Harrison says he is delighted of his appointment and looks forward to being able to contribute to the future endeavours of WAMSI.
“I am delighted to have been asked to sit on the WAMSI Board and I look forward to assisting the organisation develop a strong business plan to enable it to deliver on the 2050 blueprint long in to the future,” he said.
The WA Marine Science Institute (WAMSI) is currently moving into a new phase. As well as completing the science in the Kimberley and Dredging Nodes, it has been tasked by the WA Government to plan for an ongoing marine science collaboration within WA to be based on the previously developed Blueprint for Marine Science 2050.
