Save the date: Seafood Innovation Workshop
WAFIC is collaborating with the Sustainable Innovative Food Technologies centre (SIFT) and the Food Industry Innovation team at the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) to deliver a targeted workshop for the seafood industry that explores opportunities and processes for value-adding and downstream innovations.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about ways to increase value for your business and understand the types of support available through the SIFT centre, as well as how the team can help you scale-up your seafood start-up, or value- add to your enterprise.
The day will include several presentations on value-adding, market insights and seafood supply chains, as well as a tour, demos and lunch, and will finish with time for networking at the end of the day.
The workshop will take place at the new Food innovation Precinct, Stake Hill, near Mandurah on 23 October 2025.
