Seafood Directions 2026 is shaping up to be the most important gathering of Australia’s seafood industry in the year ahead, bringing together leaders from wild catch, aquaculture, processing, trade, science, technology and government for three days of big conversations and practical insights.

Held at the International Convention Centre Sydney from 28-30 July, Seafood Directions 2026 will focus on the strategic forces shaping our seafood future: global markets, workforce pressures, climate adaptation, innovation, data, trust and social licence.

The 2026 program features a dynamic mix of industry leaders, economists, innovators and global thinkers. From sharp analysis on seafood trade flows and economic value, to practical case studies on safety, workforce and fisheries management, the program is designed to challenge thinking and spark action.

Artificial intelligence will also feature with a presentation from Julian Moore to explain how artificial intelligence is already reshaping decision‑making in seafood and beyond.
